Shipping & Handling
Perishable items are shipped via UPS Second Day Air, UPS Ground, and DHL Overnight Service within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. We do not ship perishable items outside of the U.S. at this time. All of these items are shipped in Styrofoam lined corrugated boxes packed with dry ice or gel packs to ensure the product arrives chilled and/or frozen. We ship perishable products Monday thru Wednesday for Tuesday thru Friday delivery. If you require a Saturday delivery, this will incur extra costs; please call us at 1(800)981-1854 for an exact shipping quote and to place the order. Our perishable products require no signature for delivery, and will be left at the delivery location unless otherwise specified.
When choosing your delivery date, please note the product must arrive at least 48 hours prior to cooking to allow for appropriate defrosting.
Non-Perishable items are shipped via UPS Ground Delivery Service Monday thru Friday. Delivery time within the continental United States will not exceed seven (7) business days from date of shipment. Non-perishable items may be shipped to countries outside of the U.S.; however, delivery may take several weeks due to Customs.
If you require an Overnight, Second Day, or Third Day delivery for non-perishable items, this will incur extra costs; please call us at 1(800)981-1854 for an exact shipping quote and to place the order. Our non-perishable products do require a signature for delivery.

When your perishable product arrives it will be frozen or chilled. Please open the top of the box where you see the McReynolds Farms label and inspect the item’s condition. If you have any concerns please contact customer service immediately.
If there is dry ice remaining in the box, please use caution in handling as it does emit carbon dioxide. Dry ice will burn your skin if touched without proper protection. Maintain your product at 40 degrees or colder until cooking. Do not allow meat products to remain defrosted for more than 48 hours.
If you do not have cooler to accommodate a large pig or lamb, you may utilize the shipping box as an ice chest until you are ready to cook. Simply place plenty of ice inside of the box underneath and around the animal, seal the box, and periodically check the product’s temperature and ice measure. Be sure to store the box in a cool area away from direct light. The box may leak water, so keep in mind when selecting a storage area.
